This is the place for the vacation you've been dreaming about - direct ski-in, ski out access to some of the best skiing in Western Canada, and luxurious amenities to help you relax and unwind when you're not on the slopes.

All the comforts of home (and more) are here:  two master suites with king-sized beds, a fully appointed kitchen with granite counter tops and heated tile floors, plus a separate downstairs living area with its own bedroom, bathroom, and living area / entertainment center.  A wireless internet connection is available for your use, if you must bring a computer with you on your vacation.

At the end of a long day, grab a beverage from the fridge and hop into the private hot tub on the deck, so you'll be refreshed and ready for another beautiful day enjoying all that Big White has to offer!

Drive in to the heated garage and ski storage area on the lower floor.  Direct access from the garage to a family room /  sleeping area (hide-a-bed and  single bed).  Separate bedroom with single over double bunk,  and full bathroom also on the lower floor.  Ski from the family room to three major lifts in moments!

The main floor features a gourmet kitchen with an island bar seating 3, dining area  for eight plus, hardwood floors in the living area, which features comfortable couches, a gas fireplace, TV and entertainment centre.  A private deck off the dining /  living area offers a panorama over Happy Valley to the Monashee Mountains.  A second private deck off the kitchen provides a hot tub and a barbeque.

The upper floor includes two large master bedrooms.  One has an electric fireplace and a  private ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.  The second master bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom with a large rain shower.  Both have very comfortable king size beds, TV's and large closets.

The upper floor also provides an in-house laundry centre.

Master Suite 1: Large master suite with king-size bed, full size closet and ensuite with jetted soaker tub. 25" TV above electric fireplace.

Master Suite 2: Master suite with king-size bed, full size closet, flat screen TV with built-in DVD player. Ensuite bathroom also accessible from hallway has a luxurious full-size shower.

Downstairs bedroom: Comfortable bedroom with single-over-double bunk bed and large dresser for your clothes.

Downstairs living area: Downstairs living area has a queen hide-a-bed, and an extremely comfortable twin bed.

Special Features

One of the best locations on the mountain. A short walk takes you down to HappyValley village with skating, bonfires, tubetown, snowmobiling and a restaurant. Catch the free gondola to the upper main village for more restuarants and nightlife then stroll down the lit path back to your front door.

 

Amenities

Blacksmith Lodge is a private, self-contained unit with all the comforts of home.  The kitchen, living areas and sleeping areas have everything that you need to make your time off the slopes as pleasant as your time on them.  Wireless internet is available, should you need to keep in touch with your business, family and friends after a day on the mountain. Private Amenities include a gas barbeque on the deck off the kitchen, books, board games & dvds for you to enjoy.

 

POLICIES & DISCLAIMERS

Arrival Days:  Arrivals on any day of the week.
Cancellations Made by Guests:  Deposits are non-refundable.  Payment (minus deposit) refundable if booking is cancelled 60 days or more in advance of your scheduled arrival. Otherwise, refunds are only issued if we are able to replace your booking.  


Check-In Time:  4:00pm (1600)    
Check-Out Time:  11:00am (1100)    
Complaints Concerning Property:  Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification.  Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.  

 

Excessive Noise:  A warning will be provided upon the first noise complaint. A second complaint will result in eviction.  If evicted, refunds will not be provided.  

Graduation & Stag/ette Parties:  Not allowed.    

Minimum Age Requirement:  At least one guest must be 21 years of age or older.     

Pets:  No pets.    

Property Damage:  A $500 (CAD) charge will be charged in addition to the balance of payment.  Damage includes, but is not limited to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property. Balances from the damage deposit will be refunded within 30 days of departure. 

Smoking:  No smoking allowed in the unit.     

Terms of Eviction:  Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace; excess of 10 overnight occupants without advance permission.

Guest Account Termination - The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal - The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments - Bookings will be cancelled if payment is not received by due dates. Guests may re-book if the dates are still available - deposit will not be charged again.
Privacy - The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Maximum Sleeping Capacity - Maximum 10 people. More than 10 people will result in eviction.; refunds will not be provided.
Missing Items - Guests will be charged for missing items according to the damage deposit policy.
